In most cases yes — existing business numbers can usually be ported onto a new VoIP system. We confirm what is portable before any change is scheduled, so nothing is assumed about your current carrier.

Will VoIP work on our current internet connection?

Accepted Answer

That is the first thing we check. Voice quality depends on the connection and on how the network is configured, so we assess bandwidth and prioritize voice traffic as part of the install rather than hoping it holds up.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Accepted Answer

Call flow can be configured to fail over — for example, forwarding to mobiles — so calls still reach someone. We set that up deliberately as part of the design.

Do you support phones for remote staff?

Yes. Extensions can follow a person to a home office, a laptop, or a mobile device, so remote staff are reachable on the business number rather than a personal one.
